About me

My name is Mared Morant and I am a fully qualified primary teacher with experience across all years in Early Years, Key Stage 1 and 2. 

I was brought up in Farnham and returned here to create my own home after a period at University, Law School and working in London. Whilst I spent a number of years in another career, teaching had always been an aspiration of mine. Therefore, I joined a local school as a classroom assistant in 2016 before retraining as a primary teacher with both SCITT and PGCE qualifications in 2017. 

Throughout my teaching career to date, I have taught full classes of 34, smaller groups for focused support, and provided one to one teaching. I have been lucky enough to teach all year groups from Reception through to Year 6, and have loved the challenges and rewards brought by each different year. 

Following the birth of my first son in February 2020, and the subsequent unprecedented times  of the  COVID-19 pandemic, I wanted to offer my support to local children and parents by offering one to one tuition for Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Since then I have worked with a large number of local families with children at various schools around Farnham. I have recently returned to tutoring after a short break following the birth of my second son in March 2023.
